Madeleine de Souvré, better known as the Marquise de Sablé, made the little shortbread discover in July 1670 at the court of the Grand Condé. She introduced a multitude of small round cookies to the king's brother who was conquered by these sweets. The little shortbread was born. All these cookies are made in hand made by the pastry masters of the Biscuiterie La Sablesienne who use noble ingredients such as good fresh butter and eggs of high -air chicken.
